Course Description

The University of Roehampton is a modern university located in south-west London, near the affluent and picturesque Richmond. Students can enjoy living and learning on a beautiful green campus whilst making the most of all the leisure, cultural, sporting, and networking opportunities London has to offer. The university evolved from four teacher training colleges, the first of which, Whitelands College, was established in 1841. The others are Digby Stuart (1874), Froebel College (1892), and Southlands College (1970s), which together make up the now modern campus. In 1975, the four institutions federated to create Roehampton Institute of Higher Education, which became the University of Roehampton in 2011.
