Course Description

The University of Hull is a public research university in Kingston upon Hull, a city in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It was founded in 1927 as University College Hull. The main university campus is located in Hull and is home to the Hull York Medical School, a joint initiative with the University of York. Students are served by Hull University Union.The first chancellor of the university was Lord Middleton (1954–1969), followed by Lord Cohen (1970–1977), Lord Wilberforce (1978–1994), and Lord Armstrong (1994–2006). Virginia Bottomley (Baroness Bottomley of Nettlestone) was installed as the current chancellor in April 2006. ONCAMPUS Hull is based on the campus of the University of Hull, one of the oldest universities in England. Students that study at ONCAMPUS Hull are guaranteed progression to the University of Hull on successful completion of their Foundation programme. When students enrol on their programme of study at ONCAMPUS, they will be assigned a Personal Tutor, who is responsible for ensuring they have adequate academic support during their time at ONCAMPUS. Hull is a campus university, which blends the traditional with the innovative. This means students can experience life on a green and leafy 125-acre campus, complete with beautiful old buildings, while taking advantage of a cutting-edge environment that embraces technology, social connectivity and a global outlook.     Students wishing to live off-campus need to research availability on their own, and should arrive well before the start of term to do so.

    HOMESTAY

    There are a wide variety of homestay options available, and our partner schools do their best to match students and hosts according to their interests and preferences. All homestay accommodations have been inspected, and all adults in the home have completed a required criminal reference check.
    Post-Study Work Visa will be open to all students, on Tier 4 visas, who are accepted onto a course in the 2020 intake or later. Once you have successfully completed a course of study at the undergraduate level or above at an approved UK Higher Education Provider you would be able to stay and work (in any sector or at any level) for a maximum of two years.
